CAL-PRO PAINTING, INC. guarantees that all of its work conforms to industry residential standards. For a period of 10 YEARS* from the date of substantial completion of the work covered hereby, CAL-PRO PAINTING, INC. will promptly repaint any faulty workmanship performed under the contract, and this warranty is expressly conditioned on (1) CAL-PRO PAINTING, INC. having had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the same prior to removal or alteration by CLIENT and (2) CAL-PRO PAINTING, INC. having been paid in full for all work performed under the painting contract/master agreement.  This warranty specifically excludes ‘wear-and-tear’ due to normal weathering, previous coat break-down, the reoccurrence of rust or mildew, hidden conditions such as latent defects in existing work or other causes beyond Contractor’s control.  Areas where others have performed painting after Contractor has finished the work shall be voided from warranty.  This warranty does not apply to patio covers, decks and horizontal surfaces.  This warranty does not apply to caulking failure or any subsequent damage caused by caulking failure.  Re-opening of cracks in stucco is not covered by warranty.  Dry-rot occurring within the warranty period is not covered by warranty, as dry-rot is an indicator of a moisture problem, not a paint problem.   Areas that are continuously subjected to water from sprinklers, or other sources, are not covered by the warranty.

*Certain surfaces may not be covered under the 10 year warranty or may have a warranty of less than 10 years.
